Hello and welcome to The Blog at Triple 1 Blessings!

This is a place where I hope to gain new friends, new insights and new partnerships as Triple 1 Blessings dashes into the 21st century with gusto!  (Well, we can wish, right?  If you know me, Jennifer Wassel, you are already laughing at the word “dashes” because the only “dashing” I accomplish is here – with these – – – yep, THOSE are my dashes!)  But, with the incredible help of our First Family in our respite division, we now have this beautiful website, a Facebook page and we’ll be incorporating our Instagram shortly.  A HUGE SHOUT OUT to Thaddeus & Jenae! (Love you guys and I wish everyone could meet you because, although you struggle for sleep, for time to do all the necessary chores, for insight as you make life-and-death decisions . . . you still inspire and you are my heroes!)

Some of the areas I’d like to address are:

• the URGENT NEED for Respite Services
• Parent-to-Parent Support
• Improved Relationships with Schools
• Full-Inclusion in whole communities as well as the schools
• Planning for “Transitions”
• BEHAVIORS! How to Manage and Support Socially-Acceptable Behaviors (and that includes promoting positive behaviors in not just the individual with special needs, but in EVERYone, including siblings, spouses and ‘Special Needs’ medical and educational professionals!)
• The importance of Recreational Therapy
• and anything else that proves to be challenging for you!

I’m looking forward to a great Fall 2018 with more families joining us!
